Small Business Website Rebrand Project
Our Redesign of "Home Coffee" website
For this project, I was assigned a partner and together we were tasked to rebrand a local business's website for our Interactive Design Class. We agreed to rebrand a local San Francisco business called Home Coffee San Francisco. Here is their website : https://homecoffeesf.com/. Although our redesign was not used on their official homepage we did learn about the process of rebranding and used Figma to design the layout.
Design Research
Before heading to the actual designing stage, we conducted a series of research on the business that included a design brief, business research, competitive analysis, etc.
We did research first to help us understand what the business needs in their website, what can they do better, and identify what is a strong aspect of their current site before the rebrand. Below is the pre production work:
After doing the research, we then went into Figma to wireframe the layout of our redesign. Here it gave us a a better idea of what kind of layout works and what can be done better:
